FROND.
The epitome of
AUGUST.
Fern life
waning.
Still
BEAUTIFUL.
Still
VIVID.
Still
ALIVE.
But not for long.
Autumn beckons.
The foliage has been losing its freshness
through the month of August,
and here and there a yellow leaf shows itself
like the first gray hair amidst the locks of a beauty
who has seen one season too many.
- Oliver Wendell Holmes -
Beckoning
Smiles.
beautiful, vivid, alive!

Your words are eloquent and true ... fall is definitely on here as I had to put a sweat shirt on to walk Izzi this morning. I take exception to one thing though ... Gray hair doesn't mean one too many seasons, it means a new kind of beauty and vitality ... it can also mean wisdom and experience. I never think of being old as an issue ... I love each day that I am here :)
